It's been a while.

I apologize to those who have been waiting.  It's a long story, I really don't want to dwell on it except that it was a mix of a creative block and possible depression that sidelined my creativity for the past year and a half.  I was advised to see someone about it a while back which has started to help out, I still feel rather glum but at least I'm starting to feel a bit better about myself.

I plan to spend June and July catching up with commissions that have fallen by the wayside.  I've managed to work on a few pics, also trying out another inking style and it's good knowing that it's working with me unlike my previous inking technique that wasn't working out for me. 

I'm sorry that I've been quiet up until now, hopefully I can try to regain my creative strength through this summer.

Oh bloody hell...was directed to this guy's deviant account because he had posted two of my pics without my permission.  A quick peruse shows that all of the art isn't his as well.

I went and did the necessary Violation Reports again, but after remembering how things went the last time I did this I have no faith that the Deviant mods, real or auto, will resolve this appropriately.  So Plan B, here's the link to this idiot's Deviant account, feel free to have at it by contacting the other artists who this guy stole from and so forth.

Thought after five months it would have been okay, but a day later my lower jaw really ached and it felt like a minor infection was going down the right side of my neck.  Luckily gotten over it quickly but I guess they're right that when you get your wisdom teeth yanked you should avoid drinking out of straws.

Holiday's over so things are getting back to normal.  Birthday's on Sunday.
Was given the suggestion to look into lasik surgery, the last time I had thought about it was back in the late 90's, however the same problem that stopped me from getting the operation then is the same now:  a bout of optic neuritis in the mid-90's that messed up my eyesight and has prevented my sight from getting back to 20/20.  So another operation is out of the question and I'll just have to stick with glasses; probably bring it up again in a decade or so.

In other things looks like the art that somebody else had posted on another Deviant account without my permission has been removed.  Not sure if it's because it was voluntarily removed or if Deviant took action, but since I haven't had a response from Deviant about the removal I'm presuming it's the former.  So now I'm sated that they've been removed but not very pleased over Deviant's initial response that took no action in removing them.

I still have the wisdom tooth dental bills to take care of so I'll keep the commissions sign out.  The mummy-wrap theme has proven popular so I'll keep that $10 option open as well though they won't be Christmas-oriented now that the holidays are over...this doesn't mean it could be for something else like a birthday or the upcoming Valentine's Day or even just for fun.  I was also been thinking of doing a Chainsman Institute throwback commissions special since over the years there have been many new gals that haven't had the chance to appear on that long ago site.  This would just be pinups and not really a spiritual successor however, still mulling on that though.
